The Alarm Alert continuously monitors up to eight inputs and the line voltage via its wall mount transformer.
Remote Status Checking
The Alarm Alert can be called anytime to check the state of any input and the line voltage.
Emergency Phone Calls
When an input is not in its programmed normal state for longer than its programmed time delay or the line voltage is out for longer than five minutes, the Alarm Alert will call all programmed phone numbers until contact is made. If contact has not been made after dialing all phone numbers, the Alarm Alert will wait twenty minutes and then begin calling again. This sequence is repeated until contact is made.
When the Alarm Alert calls a voice phone number, it will play the recordable unit ID message and the current state of the input that caused the phone call. The Alarm Alert will then prompt the user to enter the PIN. If the correct PIN is entered, contact has been made and the Alarm Alert will stop calling. If Alarm Alert calls an answering machine or voice mail, the Alarm Alert will leave the warning message and will continue to call.
When the Alarm Alert calls a pager number, it will transmit the programmed Local ID Number, any inputs which have caused an alarm, and the line voltage status.
